The Honolulu Festival's colorful crowning glory is tomorrow's parade on Kalakaua Avenue, scheduled from 4:30 p.m., beginning at Saratoga Road and ending at Kapi'olani Park.

But there's so much more to see before the parade, with performers and artisans from Japan, Taiwan, Australia, the Philippines and Hawai'i giving their all at the Hawai'i Convention Center, Ala Moana Centerstage and the new Waikiki Beach Walk development today and tomorrow.

The festival, in its 13th year, is themed "Pacific Renaissance"; its ongoing mission is to promote good will between Hawai'i and its Asia/Pacific neighbors. It's free (except for tonight's gala event at the convention center: $85). Details at www.honolulufestival.com.
