Mililani church prepares care packages for troops in Iraq

Advertiser Staff

The New Hope Christian Fellowship of Mililani will be preparing care packages for an Army unit in Iraq from 12:30 to 2 p.m. today at Mililani Ike Elementary School, 95-1330 Lehiwa Drive.

The care packages will be shipped this month to members of the Army's Unit B Co. 3-25 Aviation.

With over 600 people in the congregation, Senior Pastor Michael Palompo said, New Hope Mililani has rallied with community partners to fulfill the needs of troops in Iraq and to let them know "they have not been forgotten and that someone is praying for their speedy and safe return back home."
