Pimpbot celebrates sixth birthday at Anna Bannanas

Pimpbot, Waikiki ska-rockers, will mark its sixth anniversary March 24 at Anna Bannanas.Local rock faves Missing Dave, The No-No Boys and Black Square will join the jam.
Pimpbot is known for its hybrid ska sounds that embrace jazz, reggae, hip-hop, hard-core, punk and salsa. The four-member band will present tunes from its debut "Vertical Lobster" album as well as numbers from an upcoming second CD.
Doors open at 9 p.m.; admittance is restricted to those 21 and older.
