Cold front may bring heavy rains to Kaua'i

A cold front is expected to hit Kaua'i by mid-morning tomorrow, the National Weather Service said.

The slow-moving front could bring heavy rains to Kaua'i and cause flooding. Light trade winds should return over the weekend.

Today: Mostly cloudy with showers likely. Highs 73 to 80. South winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Showers likely in the evening, then occasional showers after midnight. Locally heavy rainfall possible after midnight. Lows 63 to 73. South winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 80 percent.

Tomorrow: Cloudy with occasional showers. Locally heavy rainfall possible. Highs 73 to 80. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 90 percent.

Tomorrow night: Mostly cloudy with showers likely. Locally heavy rainfall possible. Lows 63 to 72. West winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 70 percent.
