UH's Robinson, Smethurst sweep WAC softball honors

The University of Hawai'i women's softball team swept Western Athletic Conference pitcher and hitter of the week honors today, the conference office announced.First baseman Kate Robinson was named the hitter of the week and Justine Smethurst the pitcher of the week.
Robinson was 10-for-20 with two doubles, three home runs and 10 runs batted in while Smethurst went 5-0 with five complete games, including two victories over No. 14 Oregon State.
