Drastic jump in surf tomorrow with 25-footers forecast

Advertiser Staff

It's not exactly the calm before the storm, but today's surf along notth-facing shores is slated to be 6 feet to 9 feet, well below the 25-footers the National Weather Service has in tomorrow's forecast.

West-facing shores will see surf 2 feet to 4 feet today, but tomorrow's swell will bring the surf up to 20 feet through Wednesday.

The advisory level for both shores will continue through Thursday, the National Weather Service said.

The rest of today's forecast calls for southern shores to see surf 3 feet to 5 feet and eastern shores to see surf 1 foot to 3 feet.
