Powwow at Wailoa Park

An intertribal Native American powwow will take place May 26-28 at Wailoa State Park in Hilo, the second year the event is being held.

Dancing will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

There will also be Native American food, traditional arts and crafts, a silent auction and special guests.

The event is free. No alcohol or illicit drugs are permitted. It is hosted by the Federation of American Natives, in partnership with the Big Island Resource Conservation and Development Council.
