Increased air-traffic noise over Honolulu is temporary

Airfield maintenance is causing an increase of air traffic over Honolulu and Sand Island this morning, the state Department of Transportation said.Residents may notice the increased noise, but it should end around 7:30 a.m. when repairs to Reef Runway are slated to conclude.
