Climate expert at UH today

A leading climate researcher who has spent numerous field seasons in both Antarctica and Greenland studying the waxing and waning of ice sheets will be the featured speaker tonight at the University of Hawai'i's Distinguished Lecture Series.

Richard Alley, an Evan Pugh Professor of Geosciences at Penn St. University. Alley, will be presenting "Get Rich and Save the World: Global Warming, Peak Oil, and Our Future," at 7 p.m. at the UH Manoa Campus Center Ballroom.
