Landfill worker injured after backing into truck

A 51-year-old man working at a private landfill adjacent to the Lualualei Naval Ammunition Depot Road was injured this morning when he walked backward into a parked truck.The worker was taken by city ambulance in stable condition to Hawaii Medical Center West.
The incident was reported about 7:15 a.m.
