Advertiser Staff

All three passengers who survived Sunday's helicopter crash on Kaua'i remain in serious condition, nursing supervisors at The Queen's Medical Center and Wilcox Hospital said this morning.

Douglas Barton, 60, and his wife, Judy, 51, were flown from Wilcox Hospital on Sunday night to Queen's on O'ahu for more treatment.

Another passenger, 60-year-old Dania Hansen of Los Altos, Calif. — near Stanford University along the San Francisco Peninsula — remains in serious condition at Wilcox Hospital on Kaua'i after having surgery on Monday, when she was upgraded from critical condition.

No other information on their injuries is available at this time.

The pilot, 30-year-old Donald Torres of Hanapepe, was treated and released from Wilcox on Sunday night.

A fourth passenger, 60-year-old Michael Gershon of Walnut Creek, Calif., was killed in the crash.
