Campaign introduces fight against drug addiction

With approximately 108,000 adults in Hawai'i struggling with drug and/or alcohol addiction, the Aloha United Way, the Lt. Governor's office, Hina Mauka, Oceanic Cable and a coalition of drug prevention and treatment providers have joined togethertoday to announce a platform campaign aimed at raising awareness on addiction.Lt. Governor Duke Aiona will present the new campaign at 2 p.m. today at the Governor's Chambers, State Capitol, 5th floor.
