Hawaiian Air resumes year-round San Diego-Maui route

Hawaiian Airlines said today it will resume its year-round daily service between San Diego and Kahului, Maui, beginning Friday.The airline originally launched the year-round San Diego-Maui service last May when it acquired four Boeing 767-300 aircraft from Delta Air Lines.
But Hawaiian, which had been flying the San Diego-to-Maui flights only during the summer, suspended the year-round service on Jan. 9 due to delays in modifying and certifying three of the new planes.
