Flood watch canceled, but rain still in forecast

Cloudy skies and humid conditions will continue over the Islands today as a cold front near Kaua'i moves slowly east.

The front will continue to bring a threat of heavy showers, the National Weather Service said.

However, the rains won't stay in any one area for prolonged periods and the flood watch has been canceled.

Today: Cloudy with showers likely and slight chance of thunderstorms. Highs 71 to 78. West winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 60 percent.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Lows 60 to 68. North winds around 10 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent.

Thursday: Partly sunny with isolated showers. Highs 73 to 79. North winds around 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 60 to 68. North winds around 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Friday: Mostly sunny with isolated showers. Highs 72 to 79. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 61 to 69. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
