Pickin' in the Park set for March 25

Bluegrass in the park?

It happens from 1 to 5 p.m. March 25 at the Old Stadium Park in Mo'il'ili,, when the Hawai'i Traditional & Bluegrass Music Society hosts its free Pickin' In the Park jam session. 

You may join in, as a spectator of a participating musician, particularly if you play an unplugged traditional instrument. The event will be a celebration of acoustic bluegrass, newgrass, mountain, roots, traditional country, Hawaiian, Americana, folk, Western, Celtic and Irish music.

The park is located at South King and Isenberg streets.

Jammers and listeners are advised to bring blankets or lawnchairs on which to sit.
