Center opens today in 'Ewa for medically fragile kids

Grand opening ceremonies are scheduled to get under way at 10:30 a.m. today at Kulana Malama (Center for Caring) in 'Ewa Beach, said to be the first facility in the Pacific dedicated to providing skilled nursing care for medically fragile children in a residential setting.

Gov. Linda Lingle will participate in the grand opening at the center at 91-1360 Karayan St.
