Hawai'i Craftsmen's workshops at UH March 24-26

Hawai'i Craftsmen's annual 'Aha Hana Lima Workshops, a three-day gathering of artists, will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 24 through 26 at the art department of the University of Hawai'i-Manoa.

Participating artists will be:

i Cameron Crawford, clay sculpture, from Chico, Calif.

i Gerald Heffernon, mixed media-imaginary animals, from Winters, Calif.

i Shunji Omura, glass-blown glass, from Japan.

i Jiro Yonezawa, fiber-Japanese bamboo basket weaving, from Portland, Ore.

A related public slide lecture, with the four artists, will be held at 6:30 p.m. March 22 at the Doris Duke Theatre at the Honolulu Academy of Arts.
