Knife pulled during a fight

A 26-year-old Salt Lake man was arrested in Waikiki about 3 a.m. today after he allegedly threatened another man with a knife near the corner of Ala Moana and Hobron Lane.

The victim told police two men tried to pick a fight with him for no apparent reason. He said the two men confronted him and one of them pulled out a knife and threatened him.

The man, 31, told police he waited for the two men to walk away and then called 911.

Patrol officers responding to the call for assistance found two suspects nearby and the man who filed the complaint identified them.

One suspect was then arrested on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening.

Man accused of threatening family member

A 47-year-old man was arrested in Wai'anae about 12:10 a.m. today after he allegedly threatened to harm a family member, a woman who is also 47, with a dangerous instrument, police said.

The man was arrested on suspicion of first-degree terroristic threatening.

Attempted money-order forgery reported

A 40-year-old Wai'anae woman was arrested about 1:45 p.m. Wednesday after she allegedly tried to cash a forged money order at a business in Wai'anae.

Police were called to the store and arrested the woman on suspicion of second-degree forgery.
