Education community meeting set for Windward

The Board of Education will host a community meeting in the Windward district 6:30- 8:30 p.m. April 4 at the Kahuku Elementary School Cafeteria at 56-170 Pualalea St.The board schedules forums in different communities each month to give the public a chance to bring forward their concerns.
The Department of Education is hoping for input from citizens about the schools' operating and capital improvements budgets for the 2008-09 school year now before the state legislature.
