Green waste drop-offs suspended at Kapa'a station

Kaua'i county officials have suspended accepting green waste at the Kapa'a Refuse Transfer Station because of safety concerns caused by muddy conditions in the drop-off area.Officials are directing residents to drop off their green waste at the Lihu'e transfer station or any other transfer station on the island or the Kekaha Landfill.
The Kapa'a transfer station will resume accepting green waste when conditions improve, officials said.
