Pedestrian hit in Kane'ohe, suffers minor injuries

A female pedestrian was hit by a car in Kane'ohe this morning but suffered only minor injuries and was taken to Castle Medical Center in stable condition, said Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the Honolulu Emergency Services Department.The woman, believed to be in her 50s, was struck shortly before 8 a.m. in front of the Windward City Shopping Center on Kane'ohe Bay Drive, near the intersection of Puohala and Makalani streets.
