Wilson fires 78, misses cut at Bay Hill; Tiger falls back

Former Kaneohe resident and Castle alum Dean Wilson shot an 8-over 78 and missed the cut today in the Bay Hill in Orlando, Fla.

Wilson, who shot even-par 70 Thursday, which included an ace, had seven bogeys, a double bogey and a birdie.

His two-round total of 148 missed the cut by five shots.

Hawaii's other PGA Tour player, Parker McLachlin, is not playing this week.

Rocco Mediate leads at 131 (66-65). Paul Casey (64-70) and John Rollins (69-65) are three shots back.

Tiger Woods, who was tied for the lead after a first-round 64, shot a 3-over 73 and is tied for 13th at 137.
