Quakers luncheon set for March 25

The Honolulu Friends Meeting (Quakers) celebrates the 50th anniversary of its meeting house with a free 11:30 a.m. luncheon March 25 at its Friends Center, 2426 O'ahu Ave.Founded in 1937, Honolulu Friends Meeting began meeting in homes, at the Richards Street YWCA and at the Church of the Crossroads until acquiring the home in 1957. It also houses the office of the Hawai'i Area Program of the American Friends Service Committee.
