Campaign Spending Commission nominees sought

The Judicial Council is seeking nominations from people wanting to serve four-year terms on the state Campaign Spending Commission, which supervises campaign contributions and expenditures.Commissioners may not participate in political campaigns or contribute to candidates or political committees.
Applications, resume and three letters of recommendation attesting to the applicant's character and integrity are due by the end of business on April 13. Send applications to:

The Judicial Council will appoint nominees and Gov. Linda Lingle will fill vacancies from the list.
