Photo shows funnel clouds sighted in Central O'ahu

A funnel cloud was reported in Central O'ahu this afternoon and the National Weather Service is cautioning that conditions are favorable for more funnel clouds.

The funnel cloud was reported at about 2:30, the weather service said. Two other funnel clouds were seen at about noon today over Lana'i.

The weather service said the funnel clouds were associated with developing rain showers and conditions over O'ahu, Maui County, the Big Island and surrounding waters will remain favorable for funnel cloud development this afternoon.
