Third-ranked Southern California routed short-handed and No. 8 Hawai'i, 19-6, today in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation women's match at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex.

The Trojans (12-3, 5-1 MPSF) raced to leads of 3-0 and 9-1 in cruising to victory.

The Rainbow Wahine (10-8, 6-3) played without starters Meike De Nooy, Kelly Mason, Anna Sieprath and Amy Logan, who are competing with their respective countries in the World Aquatic Championships in Australia. De Nooy leads the MPSF in saves per match, and Mason is its second-leading scorer. Kristy Bagnall also did not play because of an injury.
