Freeway on-ramp in Halawa closed today for repairs

The state Department of Transportation advises O'ahu motorists that the H-1 Freeway westbound loop on-ramp from the Ulune Street extension in Halawa will be closed from 8 a.m. to noon today to allow for pothole repairs.On-ramp traffic will be detoured to the adjacent Halawa Valley Road service ramp, approximately 100 feet farther east, and will be allowed access to the H-1 Freeway.
A previously scheduled closure on March 10 was postponed due to heavy rain at the work site.
Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through the work area and to allow for extra travel time.
