Media conference set for today at KCC

The Hawaii People's Fund will host a Media Justice Conference from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at Kapi'olani Community College.A number of media issues will be discussed, including freedom of information, corporate accountability and community access.
Media practitioners from radio, print, and broadcast journalism as well as independent media such as podcasting, internet video and blogging will be participating.
Cost for the conference is $20 at the door for those who have not yet registered. That includes a resource packet and lunch.
