Blaisdell parking may be tight on Friday night

Advertiser Staff

The city has put out an advisory saying the annual Kamehameha Schools Song Contest on Friday night at the Blaisdell Center may increase traffic on streets surrounding the center.

Those planning to attend the event are urged to consider parking alternatives since the center's lot will fill quickly.

Auxiliary parking will be available at McKinley High School. All gates along King Street and Kapi'olani Boulevard will be open for parking access after 3 p.m.

No left turns are allowed into any Blaisdell parking entrance.
