Trade-wind weather expected through Thursday

Trade winds will carry scattered showers to windward and mauka sections of most islands through Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.Showers occasionally may drift over to leeward sections of the smaller islands, forecasters said.
Trade-wind velocities are expected to decrease slightly by the middle of the week.
