Punahou scored four runs in the top of the eighth inning to defeat Mid-Pacific, 5-1, yesterday at Ala Wai Field and remain undefeated in Interscholastic League of Honolulu baseball.

Punahou improved to 3-0 with the extra-inning win. Mid-Pacific is 2-1.

Junior Jeeter Ishida pitched a two-hitter to earn the complete-game victory.

Matthew Suiter had two hits for the Buffanblu. Tyler Young and Dylan Leong each had an RBI.

The Monarchs scored four runs in the top of the sixth inning to seal the victory over the Wolfpack at Ala Wai Field.

Kai Higa went 2 for 2, including an RBI for Damien (1-1).

Travis Ogimi went 2 for 3, with an RBI, for Pac-Five (0-1).
