Advertiser Staff

Honolulu-based Loea Corp. today appointed Eduardo Tinoco vice president of engineering and business development.

Tinoco has for the past year led the development of Loea's new products including Loea's recently released L2800 radio, a device capable of transmitting data, voice and video up to nearly 5 miles through rain, fog, snow, smoke and sand storms.

Tinoco joined Loea in 2006 after working for two years at Loea's parent company, Trex Enterprises Corp. Tinoco has managed multiple projects for Loea in his previous position as director of engineering, and has overseen the development of three new Loea products within a year. Tinoco, who holds a degree in electrical engineering from San Jose State, joined Trex and Loea after nearly a decade of working in Silicon Valley at various telecommunications companies.
