'Olelo to air briefing on new O'ahu tax surcharge

A half-hour informational briefing on O'ahu's new tax surcharge will air on 'Olelo, channel 54, starting Wednesday.The program was prepared by the state Department of Taxation and will provide basic information on the surcharge, such as who and what transactions are subject to it.
The show also will include information on common mistakes that businesses are making when completing their 2007 General Excise Tax forms.
The program will air:
Wednesday: 6:30 p.m.
March 28: 8 a.m.
April 4: 6:30 p.m.
April 11: 8:30 a.m.
