Best surf on north, west shores before swell subsides

Advertiser Staff

A high-surf advisory remains in effect for all north- and west-facing shores

Surf along north-facing shores is expected at 12 feet to 16 feet today while west-facing shores should see surf between 6 feet and 10 feet.

East-facing shores will be 3 feet to 5 feet and surf along south-facing shores will rise to 2 feet to 4 feet today.

The current west-northwest swell will slowly subside today and tomorrow. Another west-northwest swell will arrive Friday, producing surf near the advisory level along north- and west-facing shores.
