Crews working to restore water in Whitmore Village

Advertiser Staff

Crews have completed repairs on a broken 16-inch water main that yesterday disrupted service to Whitmore Village and upper Wahiawa.

Service is expected to be fully restored by this evening, a Board of Water Supply spokeswoman said.

The water main break on Nichols Street in Wahiawa shut off water service for an undisclosed number of customers in Whitmore Village and surrounding areas.

Officials are asking residents of Whitmore Village, upper Wahiawa — Wahiawa District Park area, Kellog Street, Ihoiho Place and areas above — to continue limiting water use today as the system is restored.
