50th annual Haili volleyball tourney set March 26-31

The 50th annual Haili Men's Volleyball Tournament, hailed as Hilo's largest sporting event, will be held March 26-31.More than 250 teams are participating in this year's tournament, including teams from Guam and Japan. The competition is open to both men and women.
Admission is free. Venues are Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium, UH Hilo Gym, Keaukaha Gym, Waiakea High School Gym, Hilo Armory, Keaau High School.
The Tournament will honor Bill Kaaa, the coach of the first men's tournament winner "Triple A," created from his last name, which won in 1957.
