Expect some lane closures on Kamehameha this week

The right lane on Kamehameha Highway (outbound) between Radford and Halawa drives will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday for bikeway and sidewalk construction, the state Department of Transportation said.Also, drivers may face right lane closures on Kamehameha Highway from Salt Lake Boulevard to the Moanalua Freeway onramps from Aiea Access Road from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday for the installation of light poles, the DOT said.
The department advises motorists to use caution while driving throught the work areas and to allow for longer travel time.
