Best of the weakening surf found on north shores

Advertiser Staff

Surf along the north-facing shores of O'ahu is on the way down and is expected to drop to 4 feet to 6 feet today, according to the National Weather Service.

Elsewhere, the surf will also diminish to 2 feet to 4 feet along west-facing shores, 3 feet to 5 feet along east-facing shores and 1 foot to 3 feet along south-facing shores.

Another west-northwest swell will arrive Friday, producing surf below the advisory level along north- and west-facing shores.
