Breezy trades likely to hang around through weekend

Those breezy trade winds we've been enjoying the last three or four days will decline a bit but will hang around through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

Stable conditions and typical windward and mauka showers will prevail, forecasters said.

An area of clouds and showers will cover parts of the eastern end of the state this morning with most of the showers falling across the windward side of the Big Island.

Here's how the next few days look:

Today: sunny. Highs 75 to 81. East winds 10 mph to 20 mph.

Tonight: partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 63 to 70. Northeast winds 10 mph to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Wednesday: sunny. Highs 77 to 83. East winds 10 mph to 15 mph.

Wednesday night: partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 63 to 71. Northeast winds 10 mph to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Thursday: sunny. Highs 77 to 83. East winds 10 mph to 15 mph.

Thursday night: partly cloudy with isolated showers. Lows 63 to 71. Northeast winds 10 mph to 15 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.
