AAA Hawaii members can get into auto show for free

In conjunction with the upcoming First Hawaiian International Auto Show, AAA Hawaii is offering prospective car and truck buyers a chance to learn about current AAA promotions during its Member Appreciation Day from noon to 10:30 p.m. on Friday at its booth.

Auto show visitors who present their AAA Hawaii membership card at the VIP desk get into the auto show for free. The first 200 people who attend the show on Friday will also receive a gift voucher to be redeemed at the booth, according to AAA Hawaii.

"This is the time of year that many consumers look at new vehicle models with the idea of buying a new car in the near future. The First Hawaiian International Auto Show is a prime event for them to see hundreds of new models, and AAA Hawaii will be available to consult about automotive issues, including insurance," said AAA Hawaii Regional Manager Richard Velazquez.

AAA Hawaii members and auto show guests can obtain a free insurance quotes, discounted AAA memberships, a replacement spare key for their current vehicle, and also view a classic 1914 Model A touring car at the AAA Hawaii information booth in the main showroom.

The First Hawaiian International Auto Show runs from Thursday to Sunday at the Hawaii Convention Center, 1801 Kalakaua Ave. Admission is $7 for adults; and $5 for seniors age 62 and older. Children ages 7-12 are $4 and children under 6 are free.
