The Brooklyn-based Reggie Wilson/Fist & Heel Performance Group will perform at 4 p.m. April 22 at Paliku Theatre on the Windward Community College campus.

Wilson draws on the movement idioms of blues, slave and worship cultures to create what he calls "Post-African Neo Hoodoo Modern dance." Making their own beats — through body percussion, aspirated breath, singing and shouts — company members blend deep ritual into potent, beautiful and energizing contemporary dance.

The Brooklyn-based Company will perform a new full-length work, "The Tale Npinpee Nckutchie and the Tail of the Golden Dek."

Tickets: $25 general admission; $20 for senior citizens, military, UH faculty & staff, and UH Alumni Association members; $15 for UH students and students under 17 year of age (service charges apply).
