Brooklyn dance company Fist & Heel performs April 22

Wilson draws on the movement idioms of blues, slave and worship cultures to create what he calls "Post-African Neo Hoodoo Modern dance." Making their own beats through body percussion, aspirated breath, singing and shouts company members blend deep ritual into potent, beautiful and energizing contemporary dance.
The Brooklyn-based Company will perform a new full-length work, "The Tale Npinpee Nckutchie and the Tail of the Golden Dek."
Tickets: $25 general admission; $20 for senior citizens, military, UH faculty & staff, and UH Alumni Association members; $15 for UH students and students under 17 year of age (service charges apply).
