AIG Hawaii workers lend a hand to homeless

AIG Hawaii employees donated 10 boxes of clothing, blankets and toiletries to shelters in Kalihi and Wai'anae.The donation was part of the company's "Spring it Forward" campaign to pass on goodwill on the first day of Spring.
The items will be distributed at the Institute for Human Services' shelters in Kalihi and a new state shelter in Wai'anae.
They were presented to shelter officials this morning at a ceremony at Restaurant Row on Ala Moana Boulevard.
