There's already a minor backup at the H-1/H-2 merge and traffic remains thick into and through Pearl City, but things lighten up once past the Ka'ahumanu Street overpass.

From that point, it's a clear shot into town with traffic not stacking up yet through the Middle Street merge.

As of 5:20 a.m., town-bound traffic from Hawai'i Kai was moving well and no problems had been reported driving in on the Pali Highway from Windward O'ahu.
