Not much surf to be had on O'ahu today

Advertiser Staff

Surf along north-facing shores will be 1 to 3 feet through today, while west-facing shores should see 1 to 2 feet, according to the National Weather Service.

Surf is expected to reach 3 to 5 feet along east-facing shores, while the south-facing shores will likely see surf of up to 3 feet, forecasters said.

A moderate west-northwest swell is expected to arrive late Friday, but surf will remain below the advisory level thresholds of 15 feet on the north-facing shores and 12 feet on the west-facing shores. The new swell will peak Friday night through Sunday before gradually subsiding.
