Maui County Fire Department promotes four

Four firefighters were promoted recently within the Maui County Fire Department, three of whom have more than 12 years of service with the department, one of whom has more than 13 years.Promoted to the position of firefighter III were Geoffrey Bogar, Kevin McAfee, Gale Notestone and Troy Stupplebeen.
Calling them "highly committed to public service," Chief Carl Kaupalolo of the County Department of Fire and Public Safety announced the promotion of Bogar, McAfee, Notestone and Stupplebeen to firefighter III.
"Their dedication to our community's safety and their ability to serve our public made them deserving candidates," said Kaupalolo. "Our county will see great leadership from them."
