Former columnist Eddie Sherman, author of "Frank, Sammy, Marlon & Me: Adventures in Paradise with the Celebrity Set," has donated his first royalty check of $1,400 to the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific.
Sherman, a retired newspaper columnist formerly with The Advertiser and MidWeek, wrote his memories with celebrities Frank Sinatra, Marlon Brando, Sammy Davis Jr., Sophia Loren and others who considered Hawai'i a playground in the book, which is published by Watermark Publishing and available at REHAB's gift shop and local bookstores.
Sherman is donating all royalties to the hospital.
