Tax help for seniors offered

AARP is offering free help on tax returns from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays at the Wai-alua Community Association building Cottage 1, 66-434 Kamehameha Highway in Hale'iwa Town.

The Tax-Aid Program is operated by experienced filers who are available to anyone with low to medium income, with priority given to seniors.

Appointments are not necessary.

Both federal and state taxes are done and can be filed electronically.

The program is also available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursdays at Kahuku Public and School Library, located at Kahuku High and Intermediate School.
