Po'ipu Bay Golf Course, former home of the PGA Grand Slam of Golf, has a variety of 2007 specials for non-residents.

The "Grand Slam Package" offers a discount on three rounds of golf on the condition that all three are completed within 10 days of purchase. The package includes green fees, shared golf cart, use of the GPS (global positioning system) and driving range, and three rounds for $380 plus tax. For guests at the adjacent Grand Hyatt Kaua'i Resort & Spa, the package is offered at $320 plus tax. It is available through Dec. 19.

The course offers two other prepaid packages, with discounts for those who buy five or 10 rounds. The five-round package price is $575, and 10 rounds is $1,050. Additional savings are offered to Grand Hyatt guests. All rounds must be used within 30 days of payment.

Po'ipu Bay also has an afternoon special of $125 for play starting after noon ($110 for Grand Hyatt guests) and a Twilight Special of $75 for play starting after 2:30 p.m. For those who want to play 36 holes in one day, the course offers a Second Round/Same Day rate of $50.

Golfers age 17 and under can play the course at half off the adult rate any time. After 4 p.m., juniors can play free if walking the course with an adult ($10 green fee for the adult).
