300 Marines, sailors deploy to Iraq tomorrow

Some 300 Marine and sailors with the 1st Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment will ship out to Iraq tomorrow from Marine Corps Base Hawai'i for a seven-month deployment.It will be the first battalion-sized deployment for the "1/12th" since Operation Desert Shield, the Marines said.
