Police Commission swears in newest members

Keith Amemiya, executive director of the Hawai'i High School Athletic Association, and Christine Camp Friedman, a real estate developer, were sworn in today as the newest members of the Honolulu Police Commission.Amemiya replaces Commissioner Jimmy Borges. Amemiya's term expires on Dec. 31.
Camp Friedman, who is also an adviser with the Avalon Development Co. LLC and the former chairwoman of the Chamber of Commerce of Hawai'i, replaces Commissioner Paul Leong. Her term expires on Dec. 31, 2011.
